Is There A New Low To Hamburger Flipper?

Is there a new category, one even lower than a "hamburger flipper"?
The blog screenshot excerpt above is from the blog of a placement professional.
Does this indicate new low to our expectations? What is your take?
Background: "Hamburger Flipper" Defined
When professionals are displaced, the common lore is that there are always plenty of replacement jobs to go into, just not the right ones. This situation falls under the common slang of "hamburger flipper". The phrase isn't taken literally - the slang indicates that the new job requires no advanced skill, and pays accordingly.
The New Low: Skill Required, Little Pay, nada for Longevity?
Now we have something that is possibly even lower than a hamburger flipper, on this "fastest growing opportunities" list. At least a hamburger flipper get's to go back to work tomorrow, and he can have the benefit of working with the brain turned off, a meditation of sorts.
There may be a new low, even below that of hamburger flipper. When I followed the links provided in this blog to the alleged "jobs" they were Elance type contracts, temporary jobs writing facebook and twitter posts, or blogging or such.
No, not employment. One time, very short term contracts. Hmmm.
This makes the world which Thomas L. Friedman describes in "The World Is Flat" look pretty positive by comparison.
Hand me that spatula, would you?
Betting On Hope?
Paula read this same post and came away with something different. "They are taking those tasks, with the hope that someone will be impressed with them and hire them for a real job". A legitimate perspective.
What do you think?
